Sailing and Windsurfing Courses

Diving courses are readily available offering a whole range of courses from two hour taster sessions to advanced courses. Some also offer snorkelling trips that are ideal for the whole family, involving a couple of hours snorkelling from a boat on beautiful shallow reefs that you probably wouldn’t know about or be able to reach by land.

RYA Training Centres
Holding an ICC (International Certificate of Competence) qualification or international boat driving licence is a legal requirement in Span. There are various training centres around the island which run courses where you can obtain your ICC during your stay. The RYA Level 2 is the basic qualification needed to apply for an ICC.
S’Algar RYA and Charter offers RYA Level 2 plus the 2-day RYA Intermediate Powerboat Course and 2-day Advance Powerboat Course for the experienced powerboater including night handling. Private refresher courses are also available.
