Bangels Adds Sparkle To Menorca’s Fashion Scene

Bangels, the new boutique accessories shop in Maó, opened it’s doors to last minute Christmas shoppers on 22 December 2011.

Selling an exclusive range of well priced costume jewellery, day and evening bags, belts, scarves, gloves and other items such as mobile phone covers, hair accessories, hosiery and gifts, Bangels proved a great place to get some inspiration for those difficult to find presents, not just for Christmas but also for Reyes on 6 January. What’s more, the shop was very popular with ladies looking for a little ‘bling’ to complement their New Year’s Eve outfits. And, with Valentine’s Day fast approaching, check out the great range of sparkly red jewellery and other gifts on offer.

ABC Menorca Gets Spring Season Preview

At ABC Menorca’s final meeting of the year held in December 2011 at El Picadero restaurant, the island’s English-speaking entrepreneurs were already looking forward to 2012: two guest speakers came to tell British businesses on about a nautical initiative planned to kick-off the season.

In May, Menorca will host a ‘Fiesta del Mar’ – a celebration of the many nautical, and not-so-nautical activities available on the island. Tim Morris, the President of the Estación Náutica (Nautical Resort) in Fornells, and Tere Orfila, from Ciutadella’s Nautical Resort, told those present more about what’s planned, and encouraged ABC Menorca members to get involved.
