As a result of compiling this magnificent record of life in Menorca and discovering so many fantastic places, the concept for Menorca PhotographyTours evolved. At the end of the 2011 season, Menorca photography Tours was specifically set up to encourage people to see that there is so much more to Menorca than just its resorts.

Specialising in offering guided tours once here on the island, Menorca Photography Tours is for all levels of expertise, from beginners to advanced through to professional. While giving advice and assistance as required, the main objective is to show customers the ‘hidden Menorca’ with some of the most picturesque, interesting and unusual sights Menorca has to offer, whether unveiling the island’s natural treasures or capturing Menorca’s colourful culture at events that might otherwise go unnoticed or be missed.

From incredible gorges and virgin beaches that change from roaring surfs in winter to crystal blue lapping water in summer to the archaeology that makes Menorca famous; from fields and hedgerows abundant with spring flowers that disappear as quickly as they came to dry river beds that suddenly return to life to become fast flowing rivers in winter; not forgetting the numerous species of birds that come and go with the seasons, experience from living on the island for many years means the Menorca Photography Tours team knows many of its secrets that the average tourist just does not get to see and which they would like to share with you.

Tours are divided into two sections, the morning and the evening, because that’s when the light is at its best. Morning sessions begin at around 07.00 hrs, according to the time of year, when participants are picked up from their chosen accommodation to get the best of Menorca’s sunrises before being taken to different locations, depending on what type of shots they want to get. The tour continues until about 12.30 hrs when everyone stops for refreshments and to discuss the morning’s work. Alternatively, evening tours start at around 18.00 hrs and again visit a variety of locations before ending up at a great spot tocapture one of Menorca’s dramatic sunsets. This session finishes with a glass of well earned Cava to discuss the photos obtained. Throughout each tour, customers are helped to get the best from their cameras by our expert.
