To see these magnificent Menorcan horses in action you can visit the Son Martorellethorse farm either to look around or watch one of their spectacular horse shows.
These breathtaking equestrian performances are bound to appeal to both adults and children and promise a great evening full of fun and entertainment, with riders demonstrating their equestrian skills on pure bred Menorquina and traditional Andalucian horses, trained in the special Menorcan way.
Established in 2000, Son Martorellet is an old cattle farm set in a protected area of natural beauty which has been converted in a breeding a training centre for the Menorquina horse. Wonderful shows are put on during the summer months, the latest being a new production of Somni, the story of a young girl who dreams of having a horse which becomes her friend and companion for adventure – an extraordinary display of grace, discipline and rhythm by both dancers and horses.
Shows every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 20.30 hours from May to October. See our What’s On section for full details.
