There is always a lively atmosphere at these impromptu gatherings and before you know it, you’ll be checking your watch wondering how it got so late..!
As day turns into night, Ses Voltes gets ready to offer its customers an unforgettable evening with a menu packed full of exciting flavours and textures, all with an authentic twist, providing the perfect environment for a family or birthday celebration, the start to a night on the town or perhaps a romantic anniversary dinner under the moon and stars on the wonderful top terrace.
The philosophy of attending to customers at all times of day originates from when Ses Voltes was established in 1983 by Juana Florit and Paco Carrasco. Their belief in offering excellent customer service combined with high quality traditional cooking emanates through their children Tolo, Diego and Carlos who now run the establishment. In 2006, they took the decision to completely refurbish the building, converting it into an avant-garde restaurant and bar but without loosing any of its traditional charm or values. Two years later, Ses Voltes reopened its doors unveiling a modern, contemporary design with plenty of welcoming areas and different uses of space, while still retaining many of the original features. The cuisine also remains true to its roots, understanding how to combine the best fresh Menorcan products with sophisticated techniques and tastes from different cultures to create a gastronomic experience that satisfies all palates.
With new ideas for meat and fish dishes, pastas and pizzas to be enjoyed in unique surroundings, Ses Voltes welcomes you to experience the informal, family atmosphere which has kept its customers loyal over the years.
Ses Voltes is open all year round from 07.00 hours until 01.00 in the morning.
Menorca Life
Ses Voltes is a magnificent, three storey gastronomic restaurant and bar that takes it name from the characteristic stone arches that line the street, right in the centre of the old town of Ciutadella. Hidden behind its unassuming façade, Ses Voltes offers a multitude of surprises to suit any occasion, mood or hour. As the day progresses, so does Ses Voltes, from that first cup of early morning coffee to late night drinks on the way home.
