Friday 16 August
19.00 – 21.00 hrs: Photograhic exhibition from the Flors i Colors fiesta held earlier in the year in the new Sant Climent nursery school.
21.00 hrs: Paella party for 1,000 people, tickets can be purchased from local outlets.
Saturday 17 August
18.00 hrs: A peal of bells and burst of rockets announce the start of the festivities.
18.15 hrs: The Giants of Mahón and carnival figures parade the streets, accompanied by the group Cap de Fibló.
18.30 hrs: The caixers (hrose riders) begin to gather in the main street, c/ Sant Jaume before making their way to the Residents Association Hall where the Caixer Batle (Fiesta Mayor) is waiting to greet them.
19.00 hrs: The Fiesta Flag is handed over to the Caixer Fadrí by the President of the Residents Association, and the Staff of Office is presented to the Caixer Batle by the Mayoress of Maó, after which the cavalcade sets off to collect the Caixer Capellà.
19.30 hrs: Evening Mass (Compline) is held at the parish church of Sant Climent.
20.00 hrs: The traditional ‘Jaleo’ begins in the square, with music from the Es Migjorn Band. Afterwards, the riders accompany the Caixer Batle and the Caixer Capellà home and depart until the following day.
24.30 hrs: Public open air dance in the square with music from the group ‘Fraggles’.
Sunday 18 August
09.30 hrs: Morning Reveille around the streets with the group Cap de Fibló.
10.00 hrs: The caixers gather in the main street, c/ Sant Jaume and set off to collect the Caixer Batle and the Fiesta Flag from the Residents Association Hall.
10.30 hrs: The cavalcade parades the streets, making its way to the parish church.
11.00 hrs: ‘Misa de Caixers’, Mass for the riders, is taken by the Caixer Capellà in the church of Sant Climent.
12.00 noon: After the ‘caragol’ (tour) around the streets, the ‘Jaleo’ takes place in the main square followed by the presentation of the traditional green canes and silver spoons to the riders, with samba music provided by the Es Migjorn Band.
15.00 hrs: The traditional reception (‘bebida’) is given by the Town Hall for all the riders in the Residents Association Hall, who enter in formation to the sound of the ‘fabiol’ (flute). The Caixer Batle thanks the riders and both the Fiesta Flag and Staff of Office are handed back.
20.30 hrs: Concert by ‘Diego Paqué’ and artisans market in c/ Sant Jaume.
23.00 hrs: Grand public dance with music from the Bulevart Trio.
24.00 hrs: Firework display at the football ground.
00.30 hrs: Fiesta finale as the party continues with music from ‘Bulevart Trio’.
Monday 19 August
12.30 hrs: Water fiesta in the Carrer Sant Miguel….wear your swimming costume..!
19.30 hrs: Children’s entertainment with ‘Esportart’ in Pla de Sant Climent
21.30 hrs: Chocolate and ‘coca bamba’ for the residents of Sant Climent.
22.00 hrs: Public party and dancing with music from the group ‘Huracán’.
23.30 hrs: A burst of firecrackers brings the fiesta to a close.
