Space Menorca To Open In Ciutadella: Great news for Menorca’s nightlife, Space Menorca will open its doors in mid June 2012 in the port of Ciutadella and hopes to bring a new concept of sophisticated nightlife to the island. As at Space Ibiza, great music will be the key element, designed to suit a variety of tastes. To this end, the club will have the most powerful sound systems, advanced LED technology and video mapping software available, hosted by the best national and international DJs. However, despite the similarities, Menorca Space will have a personality suited to the characteristics of the island, combining the aesthetics of its original rustic exterior with a minimalist interior that oozes Mediterranean charm. Located in the Pla de Sant Joan, this former disused building and orchard garden will have a capacity for 600 people with two chill out areas including a garden terrace, a main room inside dedicated to dance music, a VIP area and car parking.
Space Menorca will be the group’s second franchise worldwide after Space Sharm (Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt) and is part of a new era of Space Ibiza, considered to be the best club in the world, with new franchises planned for Brazil and Dubai.
