Space Menorca Nightclub

The opening of Space Menorca on the port of Ciutadella in June 2012 has put Menorca's nightlife firmly on the map. Transporting the magic and essence of Space Ibiza to its neighbouring island, Space Menorca brings a new concept of sophisticated nightlife to the island. Just like Space Ibiza, which has been awarded ‘Best Global Club’, the key element is great music to suit a range of modern tastes. The new club promises the most powerful sound systems, advanced LED technology and the latest video mapping software, enhanced by some of the best national and international DJ’s. However, despite these similarities, Space Menorca has a personality suited to the characteristics of the island. The former building and terraced gardens have been completely renovated to combine the aesthetics of the original rustic exterior with a minimalist interior that oozes Mediterranean charm.

Es Terrat de s’Arenal Bar

Es Terrat de s’Arenal late night bar, which opened just last year (2012), is now firmly established as a popular night spot in the resort of Arenal d’en Castell. The informal indoor bar leads out onto a chill out terrace with comfortable seating and spectacular views over the bay of Arenal, making this is a great place to meet up with friends after dinner for late night cocktails and drinks well into the early hours. The eclectic mix of furniture, pool table and paintings around the walls, give this new night venue a warm and friendly atmosphere which is sure to make it a regular haunt amongst locals and those holidaying in the area.

Zouck Late Night Bar

This popular night-time venue in Maó reopened as Zouck earlier this year under new management (previously People’s Bar). Promising to be even better, it is still the place to go for meeting up with friends and enjoying a wide variety of activities. In addition to the bowling alley, pool, table football, darts and sports TV, there is a large bar and dance area and, new for this year, a chill out terrace with lounge seating. As the evening progresses, so does the music and for those wanting a club atmosphere, Zouck now offers a great combination of sound, lighting, DJs and live music performances with particular emphasis on deep and techno house. As well as regular party and special music nights, don’t miss Ladies Night every Friday and Summer Dance on Saturdays throughout the summer from 23.00 until in the morning. Zouck is open all year round Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 20.00 hours until late. In summer, opening hours are increased to every day and at weekends Zouck remains open until 06.00 in the morning. Over 18s only. Zouck is situated behind the new Assukar Salsa Nightclub which opened in December 2011.

Assukar Salsa Nightclub

Assukar opened its doors as Maó’s hottest salsa nightclub at the end of last year, promising some of the best Latin sounds in Menorca. Its great Latin DJs give the club is own exclusive atmosphere, enticing all ages with a passion for dance to salsa, merenge and bachata well into the early hours. With regular themed parties, live salsa music and dance performances, at weekends the fun starts at 22.00 hours until 06.00 in the morning during the summer months. There is also an outside terrace area for drinks, the cocktails being a speciality. Previously the Manhattan nightclub, Assukar is situated behind the new Zouck late night bar and club which opened in March 2012. Open every night during the summer season.
