“In addition, we are sorting out the final details in preparation for handing over a Targa 50, a Targa 58 and a Squadron 78 to their proud new owners in Spring,” adds Garry Childs. “With existing customers looking to upgrade their current boats, as well as the arrival of our own new Squadron 42 demonstrator, it looks like being a hectic few months ahead. Not that we’re complaining, far from it!”
The Fairline Menorca Service
Things may be going well for Fairline Menorca, but it’s not without a good deal of hard work and planning. “Customer service and satisfaction are paramount,” says Chris. “We offer a complete service which goes well beyond the sale itself and includes full maintenance, cleaning, winterising, servicing and general help as required. We are in constant mobile contact, as a quick phone call can often solve a simple query, and that’s definitely the difference between a happy customer and an anxious one that is waiting for a response.”
Marketing also plays an important role and the Fairline Menorca team is always present at the major UK and Spanish boat shows with an open invitation to visitors to come and speak to them face to face. The dealership also features prominently in lifestyle and marine magazines and websites, and ensures that its own website is regularly updated. “And if you want to keep right up to date with all the latest news and happenings, you can now follow us on Twitter,” says Garry. Just follow @fairlinemenorca.
Fairline Menorca’s contemporary offices are prominently located on the port of Mahón, where all new and used boats complete with prices are displayed on the double aspect frontage. The team operates an ‘open door’ policy where visitors are welcome to pop in at any time for a chat. “We have some great offers at the moment,” says Garry. “These include starter boats such as a Targa 34 for a complete ‘on the water’ price of €110,000 – a perfect day-boat with two cabins for any overnight stays. We have also just received the new glossy 2012 Fairline catalogues with all new photography, so do pass by and take a look.”
