Menorca-Live Restaurant & Bar Guide 2011

Exciting news…the new online Menorca-Live Restaurant & Bar Guide is ‘live’.

Visitors to the Guide will be able to select the restaurant of their choice by area and town and then use a number of ‘Tag’ words to refine their search, for example by food nationality, type, style, setting, facilities, price range etc

Dependent on size of entry, there will be a selection of photos, general description and write up, menu highlights, special promotions, map and contact details enabling visitors to have as much information as possible about the establishment to suit their needs and tastebuds. 

Statistics show that more and more people like to research the area they are visiting in advance, and in particular its bar and restaurants, through websites and travel forums.

With holiday and leisure time so precious and budgets tighter than ever, for many this has become second nature to help avoid disappointment, especially when travelling to different locations for the first time.

Despite the numerous restaurant guides for Spain, there are very few entries for Menorca which are limited mainly to the more expensive venues. Menorca’s bars and restaurants often rely on being on featured as part of the general publicity about Menorca by independent companies, individuals and, more recently social networking which can work both for and against them.

Eating out is different on holiday, whether its most nights, a lunchtime snack or for special occasions, and needs change. People want to see a full and honest selection of the bars, cafes and restaurants available and what they can offer rather than a snapshot from subjective reviews or misleading advertisements.

As more establishments come on board, we anticipate that the Menorca-Live Restaurant & Bar Guide will soon be the best on line reference source in English for the island.
