And, it’s easy to see why as nothing is too much trouble for Pili who ensures everything runs smoothly front of house, while chef Juan runs the efficient kitchen at the back, which stays open throughout the day.

Roma_41Now in its 22nd year, this well established restaurant and pizzeria is still one of the busiest and most popular places to meet and eat on the port of Mahón. And, it’s easy to see why… ROMA’s great location with views over the harbour, large covered outside terrace, well priced menu and welcoming atmosphere combine to offer stylish yet informal dining for all the family.

ROMA is professionally run by owner José Luis Martinez whose passion for good food, attention to detail and efficient service emanate throughout the restaurant’s friendly team. His many year’s restaurant experience on the island include ten years running a pizzeria in Calas Fonts and so, as you would expect, the pizzas are excellent.

Venicia_16Now it its second year, Venecia is a lively restaurant and pizzeria right in the centre of Arenal d’en Castell. Previously Japi Bar, this long established venue has had a complete make over under the enthusiastic management of Max, known to many from the Acuario restaurant in Na Macaret which he still owns and runs.

With some of the best views over the spectacular bay of Arenal, this covered outdoor terrace restaurant is a perfect choice for early evening family meals, a get together with friends or perhaps a romantic yet informal dinner for two as the sun sets over the horizon.
