Having previously worked in a pizzeria in Italy, experienced chef Pere uses only the freshest ingredients and has put together a menu to excite anypizza aficionado which are cooked to perfection in the authentic pizza oven. There is a choice of Focaccias from £4.00 and 13 different pizzas ranging from tried and tested favourites from €7.50 to imaginative options such as the Verano with bacon, fresh tomato, prawns and avocado and the signature Venecia with fresh tomato, rocket, Iberian ham and local cured Maó cheese at €12.50.
However, Venecia is not just about pizzas. There is also a new comprehensive, well priced menu with all dishes freshly prepared and cooked to order. This features salads and pasta from €8.50 and a risotto of the day, as well as meat dishes such as a Japi burger, roasted lamb in beer and a special Venetian beef tagliatta, starting at €8.50, and fish dishes, including the fresh fish of the day, starting at €9.80. To ensure there is something for all sizes of appetite, the tapas / light bites menu is ideal for lunch or to share as a starter or side dish, and the children’s menu offers great value.
