There are pony rides available for children, and everyone of all ages, from ‘first timers’ to experienced riders, is welcome to come and ride the well cared for and well trained horses. Menorca a Cavall offers guided horseback excursions for complete beginners to experienced riders from its riding centre at the Santa Rita farm. Ranging between and hour and a full day, rides are through the Tramontana region countryside, and along the ‘Cami de Cavalls’ (the newly reinstated ‘horse road’ around the island) and north coast beaches. There is also traditional horse-drawn cart for non-riders.
