The highlight is the incredible Somni Horse Show, which is now famous all over the world and great entertainment for all the family. This enchanting performance tells the tale of a young girl who dreams of having a horse to go to the fiestas and the adventures they would have together. It combines amazing equestrian skills with beauty and fantasy as legendary figures act out mystical scenes in traditional costumes.
Located in an area of natural beauty on the road to Cala Galdana just outside Ferreries, Son Martorellet was previously an old cattle farm and has been lovingly restored as a breeding and training centre for the Menorquina horse and Menorcan dressage.
A recognised breed since 1989, these horses are also the stars of the local fiestas which take place in different towns throughout the summer.

Performances usually starts at 20.30 hrs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Doors open at 19.00 hrs. Tickets booked in advance include a free visit to the stables before 18.00 hrs and when no other events are taking place.
